Home Accessibility and E-Procurement

Nov. 30, 2010 - PRLog -- In today’s global sales market businesses are constantly caught up with the never ending task of making its customer services faster and better. It is no longer acceptable for a customer to place an order and not receive confirmation as to when and where your order is. To off-set these types of problems Home Accessibility has adopted and implemented a robust E-Procurement system.

E-Procurement is also known a form of Electronic Data Interface and connects the mfg, supplier to the customer. Essentially this is a tool for supply chain management. So what exactly is EDI? According to APICS the Society of Purchasing and Inventory Management EDI is “The electronic communication of business transactions, such as orders, confirmations and invoices, between organizations. Third parties provide EDI services that enable organizations with different equipment to connects. Although interactive access may be a part of it, EDI implies direct computer-to-computer transactions into vendors' databases and ordering systems.”

Home Accessibility has adopted E-Procurement as its preferred format to ensure that our customers receive the fastest feedback and products in our field of expertise. In addition to E-Procurement we also provide all of our customers ASN’s  also know as Advanced Shipping Notice’s. This data is delivered directly from the vendor to the customer and is 99% accurate. The ASN includes a notice as to when the product will be shipped, shipping labels are printed and a notification is immediately sent to the purchaser.
So what does this mean to our customers? Simple we are on time and offer the best customer service in our industry. We pride ourselves in saying we say what we do and do what we say. Our customers do not have to worry about getting orders taken and products not being delivered on-time. We are also personable with our customers when it comes to customer questions or concerns in that we offer a real person to speak to instead of the industry standard recordings. Why do we do this? Because we take pride in caring about our customer needs.
