The Global Best Digital Advertising Awards 2011 student competition is open for submissions.

Nov. 23, 2010 - PRLog -- The Global Best Digital Advertising Awards (GBA) Is holding it's first annual competition and has initiated a student category open to individual or team entrants in their 4th, 5th year or above at an accredited school.

"As global advertising awards focus on their duties to showcase the best in the professional advertising community,  it's also our duty to mentor and encourage young people to discover and grow through advanced education and to exercise their talents and creativity under the guidance and support of experienced professionals."

"This is our inaugural competition and it is just our beginning, but we plan to grow each year with what we offer to students of the advertising arts," says managing director, Robert Tucker,

Students may choose from three themes around which to create a digital centered campaign. Finalists will be invited to the awards festival in Thailand where the winners will be chosen by the same VIP panel of judges scoring the professional entries.

Submissions have a February 15th, 2011 deadline on the website at http://www.digitaladawards.com. The awards festival is scheduled for April 25th - 29th, 2011 in Thailand (venue to be announced soon).
