Radio Show Host Schedules 44 Grief Transformation Radio Shows Over the Holidays As Gift to Listeners

Nov. 19, 2010 - PRLog -- Grief is not a stranger to Andrea. From the death of her baby brother to sudden infant death syndrome when she was four years old, to moving 12 times by the time she was 15, to a marriage that ended in divorce, to the death of her son, to the life threatening illness she survived, to the death of her 2nd husband to cancer, she personally knows grief. She inspires people to embrace all of the feelings in life and transform to experience more joy and happiness in each moment. When her son died at the age of 19 months from a neuroblastoma cancer, she gave birth to her 4th child two weeks later. She personally experienced deep grief and deep joy at the same time. She inspires people to feel all of the feelings and make the choice to see the joy and gifts in every situation. Her philosophy is to live a life worth celebrating!

During the holidays, mixed into the celebrations, there is an underlying wave of grief that comes over people. Sadness over the loss of loved ones, health challenges, loss of jobs, homes, and relationships. In addition to that, people are grieving the changes in the world and the institutions that are falling apart. Andrea was inspired to host 44 shows to discuss a wide variety of topics with guests and to encourage a dialogue with her listeners. Her focus for each show is to share a story of grieving and follow the path to heal and transform from each situation. She believes that grief comes in waves and it is a tool to teach us to love deeply.

After the death of her husband in 2005, Andrea began to explore a deeper place inside of her. She learned to let go of some of the dreams that died with her husband and open to new ideas, dreams and passions. Some of the inspirations led her to become an ordained minister of spiritual peacemaking, co-author of a book called Conscious Choices, travel to 78 Jonas Brothers concerts with her teenage daughter, and sell everything in her house, including the house, to move from Maryland to California. Since January 2010 she has been living with her 17-year-old daughter in youth hostels, hotels, and with friends in Los Angeles. After three months in Los Angeles she flew back to Baltimore to begin giving  talks on how to Open to Inspiration. She is taking steps to become a resident of California and preparing to travel around the world with her message of change, embracing all of life, hope and inspiration.

Twice a month she co-hosts a radio show called Living on the Edge with Kathryn Yarborough. The show description is "A Year in the Life of Two Women Living On the Edge: Andrea Hylen and Kathryn Yarborough are bringing their private phone conversations to a public forum. These two dynamic women are consciously co-creating their lives with the Divine one day at a time. They are known as risk takers and role models to many people on a conscious path. Once they began talking with each other about their process, they realized others might benefit from listening in as they discuss the ups and downs of living on the edge of change and transformation. Join them from November 2010 through October 2011, as they honestly share what it's like to live on the edge.
