Nov. 16, 2010 - PRLog -- Online media and live web TV network company, Mingle Media.TV today announced  that their web series show, Research and Investigation of the Paranormal (R.I.P) will host a live broadcast over the Internet of their paranormal investigation at the haunted Knickerbocker Hotel on Saturday, November 20th, 2010, beginning at 9:00 PM EST,  and will be broadcast live at http://www.minglemediatv.com/TheGhostGirls.html and will also be simulcasting LIVE on the iPhone, Blackberry, Android, and other smart phones and archived for on-demand replay through Blip.TV, Boxee, and Roku or as an iTunes podcast.

The Knickerbocker Hotel, located in Linesville, PA, is over 130 years old and has a long history of paranormal activities.  First known as The Arnold House and then The Arlington, the building was re-named The Knickerbocker Hotel when Peg and Myrle Knickerbocker took over as owners in 2005.  Although it’s called a “hotel,” The Knickerbocker does not offer overnight accommodations to the public. However, serious paranormal researchers are welcomed and it’s been investigated many times.  Evidence captured at this location includes many clear EVPs, as well as photographic and video anomalies.  The Knickerbocker Hotel has been featured on “Paranormal State” and other shows and is considered one of the most haunted locations in the US.

Much of R.I.P.’s investigation will be streamed live over the Internet via the six webcams that are always available at The Knickerbocker Hotel 24/7/365.  Viewers may interact via the Chat Room and R.I.P. investigators will be keeping their audience informed about how the investigation is progressing. The Live Stream will be broadcast on the Ghost Girls page, http://www.minglemediatv.com/TheGhostGirls.html. Viewers are encouraged to take an active part in the investigation and provide feedback to R.I.P. concerning any odd sights, sounds, and even psychic impressions they may pick up while watching the webcams.  R.I.P. plans to air a Spirit Circle, EVP sessions, and a Tarot card reading during the course of the investigation. This investigation is being filmed and will be released in early 2011 as a webisode in the hot new Internet TV series, “The R.I.P. Files,” available as video on demand via Mingle Media TV Network:  http://www.minglemediatv.com/RIPFiles.html.
