The book is divided into twelve chapters — the 12 Keys — that facilitated high engagement and student achievement at Traner Middle School in Reno, Nevada. Teachers, administrators, and counselors will be inspired by the message of hope in each chapter, and appreciate the achievement of students through a curriculum that emphasizes critical thinking. Also, student success is facilitated by teachers who practice a simple philosophy as stated by author, Bruce J. Stewart, “teachers have an ethical imperative to connect with all students in the classroom. . .
