By: Miller Construction Company The CASF Craftsmanship Awards are an annual tradition that began in 1958, and nominations are submitted by employers, contractors, engineers, architects and developers. Through the years, craftsmen on Miller Construction Company project teams have won more than 300 of the awards – more than any other general contractor. Craftsmen were honored for their work on three Miller healthcare construction projects and for the extensive renovation and expansion of the Audi Pembroke Pines dealership: - Holy Cross Hospital – Miller Senior Foreman Christopher Morley showcased the company’s expertise in preventing infection while working in a healthcare environment. He received the award for his role in temporary protection during a hurricane hardening project at Holy Cross Hospital, Fort Lauderdale. - Cleveland Clinic Florida – Three awards recognized craftsmanship on Miller projects at the Cleveland Clinic Florida campus in Weston. Among those projects was a multiphase renovation that included constructing a second floor atop a one-story section of the hospital to accommodate a 10-bed expansion of the Post Anesthesia Care Unit, plus renovating adjacent space to add five beds to the Intensive Care Unit. Honored for craftsmanship on various projects at Cleveland Clinic Florida were: Dwight Clarke of Brighton Air Conditioning, Mark Gregory of Phoenix Painting Co. and Trevor Holloway of G&F Equipment Rental. - Audi Pembroke Pines – Miller “rebranded” Founded in 1973, Fort Lauderdale-based Miller Construction Company is a prominent design/builder and construction- End
