Bentley Jaguar of Naples Presents "Big Magic"

Oct. 28, 2010 - PRLog -- Earvin “Magic” Johnson is coming to Naples, Florida on Saturday, October 23, 2010 from 7 PM to 10 PM to speak at a benefit for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southwest Florida..  The Big Magic event will be held at Bentley Jaguar of Naples, located at 900 N. Tamiami Trail in Naples.  The general admission for the event is $125 per person. A donation of $1000 per couple will get you into the “Magic Circle” where you will receive VIP entry, VIP goody bag, private VIP cocktail reception with “Magic” Johnson from 6 PM to 7 PM, preferred seating, a photo opportunity with “Magic” Johnson and program and post event recognition.

The Big Magic Event Benefit, held at Bentley Jaguar of Naples,  will feature “Magic” Johnson speaking about basketball and his New York Best Seller List Book, 32 Ways to be a Champion Business, as well as a silent and live auction.  Enjoy heavy hors d'oeuvres and cocktails.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southwest Florida

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southwest Florida, a United Way partner agency, has been changing the lives of children here in our community for over 35 years.  Big Brothers Big Sisters are the largest provider of one-to-one youth mentoring services in the United States.  Their mission statement is to help children reach their potential through professionally supported, one-to-one mentoring relationships with measurable impact.  BBBS-SWFL has been very successful here in Southwest Florida as they have close to 700 mentoring matches.  Over the past year, statistics show that 80% of the assessed children made marked improvements in the measurable areas of confidence, caring, and competence.  Furthermore, over 90% of the children being mentored in the school-based program were promoted to the next grade level. “Even though we are seeing great results from our efforts to reach kids in our community, we still have many children who want and need a positive role model in their lives,” says President & CEO Michele Guptill.   Currently, there are 200 children on the waiting list for a Big Brother or Sisters In Collier County.  To find out more information go to www.hereforthekids.org  or send an e-mail to info@hereforthekids.com with any questions about donating or volunteering to make a difference in a child’s life.
