IEI Launches Advanced EPIC SBC with Intel® HM55 Express Chipset

Oct. 27, 2010 - PRLog -- IEI Technology Corp. (IEI), the global industrial PC innovator, releases advanced single board computers (SBCs) featuring the Intel® HM55 express chipset with the best graphic performance for mobile Intel® Core™ i7/ i5/ i3/ Celeron® platforms. The Intel® Core™ i7 processor is 1.56 and 1.6 times faster individually on CPU and graphic performance as compared with the Intel® Core™2 Duo Processor T9400 plus Intel® GM45 chipset. The IEI Intel® HM55 series supports DDR3 800/1066 MHz SDRAM up to 4 GB. Additionally, IEI Intel® HM55 series SBCs support high definition multimedia interface (HDMI) connections, delivering uncompressed HD video up to 1080p resolution and uncompressed multi-channel audio in a single cable.

The NANO-HM551 is an EPIC SBC supporting Socket G1 Intel® Core™ i7/ i5/ i3/ Celeron® CPUs. It includes a PCIe mini card expansion slot with SATA signal that supports IEI mini DOM. The NANO-HM551 supports dual display via various interface connection combinations such as VGA and dual channel 18/24 bit LVDS, LVDS and HDMI, or VGA and HDMI. The TPM V1.2 hardware security function is supported by TPM module. The NANO-HM551 features various I/O interfaces including five serial ports, eight USB 2.0, two SATA 3Gb/s, and audio.

All IEI Intel® HM55 express chipset SBCs include IEI’s unique One Key Recovery software solution. The software eliminates the frustration of system recovery after an unexpected system failure. One Key Recovery easily creates a full system backup on demand and allows system recovery by restoring to a previously made backup with a single click.
