Congressional Candidate Shelley Madore endorsed by Walter Mondale
Walter Mondale, Former Vice President of the United States, has endorsed Minnesota Second District Congressional candidate Shelley Madore.
"I am very pleased to endorse Shelley Madore for Congress," said Mondale. "Shelley will make a wonderful Member of Congress and we need her there."
"I am honored to be endorsed by former vice president Walter Mondale," said Shelley Madore. "His courage and leadership has always been an inspiration to me. He was a trail blazer in choosing a qualified woman as his running mate on the Presidential ticket and inspired a generation of women, including me, to run for public office."
Madore has also been endorsed by a number of state legislators and other local community leaders including Dakota County Commissioners Kathleen Gaylord and Nancy Schouweiler, Goodhue County Commissioner Richard Samuelson, Cottage Grove City Council member Jen Peterson and Independent School District 196 board member Joel Albright.
