Oct. 21, 2010 - PRLog -- LEED accredited professional and licensed architect Valentina Bertolizio has joined leading San Diego architecture firm domusstudio architecture, according to Principal Lew Dominy.

A native of Italy, Bertolizio has more than 10 years of experience in the industry, most recently as an Associate with Carrier Johnson + Culture in San Diego. Her work experience includes educational, health care, civic/government, corporate/office and high-rise residential buildings.

An accredited Leadership in Energy Efficient Design professional since 2008 and a licensed architect in California since 2009, Bertolizio earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in architecture from Polytechnic of Milan, Italy.  Her emphasis was on architecture in environmental, healthcare, industrial and interior design. She became a licensed architect in Italy in 1997.

At domusstudio architecture, Bertolizio is overseeing the new 420 seat North County campus of C3 Church in Carmel Valley. The new Carlsbad building at 2716 Gateway Road is planned to be a contemporary worship venue that will stimulate all senses; visually, audibly and emotionally. The design includes stadium seating, a café, dedicated children’s spaces and more.
