Compassionate Arts Announces Latest Editions by Marilyn Dunlap

Oct. 14, 2010 - PRLog -- Our talented Fine Artist Marilyn Dunlap has been inspired by a recent trip to Lake Como.  Marilyn painted 2 breathtaking views of Bellagio. Compassionate Arts has added these images to our collection of art.  Recently, compassionate arts has created an amazing outdoor tile mural of a pair of images of the Italian Coast.  

Marilyn Bast Dunlap has always been energetic and artistic. Her style is known as Romantic Realism. Over the years she has dabbled in oils, watercolors and acrylics. She now paints exclusively in acrylics, as this medium allows her to pay meticulous attention to detail.

Marilyn has traveled extensively throughout Europe. As an incurable Francofile, she translates ordinary streets into magical images, inviting us to be seduced by her cafes, bistros, narrow alleyways and aged buildings. In the artist’s words: “When I am painting, I feel as though I am there. I can smell the Fromagerie, taste the Chocolate and long for a good seat at the Bistro de Bastille. Painting is the next best thing to being there.”

Marilyn’s original paintings have been featured in galleries in Florida and North Carolina. She now lives in West Palm Beach, Florida. Be sure to watch for the little black cat in all of her paintings as they wander the streets of France.
