Achieve Beyond Supports The Communication Shutdown Project

Oct. 13, 2010 - PRLog -- Achieve Beyond is proud to be a contributor to the "Communication Shutdown" project to aid in global autism awareness. As a company that provides autism services to children from 0-21 years of age this cause was a perfect fit for the organization.
 
The "Communication Shutdown" project is designed to have people see through the eyes of autistic children who usually have trouble socially communicating. This act of not using your social media accounts simulates this and will allow participants to have an idea of what an autistic child experiences everyday. The program works through a newly designed Facebook and Twitter Application named CHAPP developed to inform your social media viewers on November 1st, 2010 you are being silent on this front to support autism. The donation minimum is merely five dollars and it gives you access to loads of interactive marketing materials. These include, but are not limited to, animated flash buttons to advertise on your webpage / social media page, an email signature, logos of the cause to post on blogs / forums, suggested postings for other media sites and more. The donation even triggers your Facebook picture to be displayed on the 'Communication Shutdown" main page contributor wall that is very impressive looking. "Communication Shutdown" was brought together / sponsored by well known companies and autism awareness groups such as the Autism Society, Paypal, Giant Steps, Breeder, Autism Rowland and Autism Society to name a few. The proceeds of this project go to fund autism awareness around the world aid autistic children and families.
