Chappaqua Builder Bruce Woolf To Appear 10/16 On NBC Home Renovation Show “George To The Rescue”
Quaker Road Associates comes to the aid of Brewster, NY firefighter’s family with design and installation of new kitchen
“We feel privileged to help provide the Martorell family with their dream kitchen,” said Bruce Woolf, president of Quaker Road Associates. “Working with George gave us the opportunity to use our skills to give back to the community, and to make a difference in the lives of a true hero and his wife.”
Airing weekends nationwide and Saturdays at 10:00 a.m. in the NY Metropolitan Area, “George to the Rescue” features home improvement expert George Oliphant’s visits to local communities across America bringing hope to deserving families and tackling home renovation projects.
“There is nothing more rewarding than helping deserving families and making their home improvement dreams a reality,” said Oliphant. “I’m thrilled to use my skills to help touch people’s lives, and I’m incredibly grateful to Bruce and his team at Quaker Road Associates who generously donated their time and resources to help make this dream kitchen a reality for the Martorell family. And, hopefully viewers at home will get ideas for their own home improvement and design projects too, and perhaps, be inspired to help a neighbor or a friend.”
“George to the Rescue” debuted in the popular LX.TV program “Open House”, which airs weekends on ten NBC Local Media Stations, which serve approximately one-third of the U.S. population. It is being expanded to a special half-hour program for the duration of its six-episode run. “Open House” airs weekends on the NBC Local Media stations and via national syndication by NBC Universal Television distribution.
