This is not the first time ARISE Foundation has received a grant from the Rotary Club of Key Biscayne’s yearly grant program. ARISE has received six grants in the past for their outstanding work with agencies and organizations serving at-risk youth locally and across the country. As a nonprofit organization, ARISE depends on grants in order to continue to provide its evidence-based programs to at-risk youth. This year’s grant will go toward purchasing a new and much needed computer.

One of over 30,000 clubs worldwide, this organization is comprised of local business and professional leaders who join together to provide humanitarian services. The Rotary Club of Key Biscayne advances its motto of “Service Above Self” during weekly meetings, service projects and social events.

Since ARISE was established almost three decades ago, it has trained and certified over 5,000 group facilitators (instructors) who have taught more than 4,000,000 documented hours of ARISE life-skills lessons in Florida alone.
