Remotely View Your Business Security Cameras on an Android PDA phone

Sept. 28, 2010 - PRLog -- Our new H.264 Standalone DVRs and Alnet PC-Based DVR Cards now also have the capabilities for viewing your existing security cameras on an Android PDA phone.  With several different options for recording, these Standalone DVRs and PC-Based DVR Cards can be used with current business surveillance cameras with BNC connectors.  This allows many business owners to slowly upgrade their older VCR or older DVR systems to newer systems that provide the internet remote viewing without needing to upgrade cameras.

  Our Standalone DVRs are easy to install and are a direct replacement for older Time-Lapse VCRs and DVRs.  Simply unplug your old cameras from your older DVR or VCR and plug them into the new H.264 Standalone DVR.  This DVR comes in 4, 9 and 16 camera versions, and will record only when motion is detected onto an internal hard drive.  Then plug it into your network and you will be able to view your cameras from a PC, Laptop or PDA phone over the network. These DVRs work with BlackBerry phones, Windows Mobile Phones, iPhones, and Android phones right through your phone’s browser.  It can load up to 4 cameras at a time on the screen and refresh the cameras up to 1 frame per second.

  For more advanced remote viewing capabilities, our Alnet PC-Based DVR Cards and systems provide the ability to record from your existing cameras onto a PC, and provide enhanced recording quality, improved motion detection capabilities, unprecedented expansion capabilities and improved remote viewing over the internet from a PC, Laptop or PDA phone.  These systems work with a Windows Vista or Windows 7 PC and will provide inputs for the cameras on the back of the PC, so you would replace your existing business DVR or VCR with a PC-Based DVR.  This is an excellent choice for remote viewing capabilities as well, because it provides the ability to connect to multiple systems at once, which is perfect for viewing cameras from different franchises or locations simultaneously.  For PDA remote viewing, the Alnet PC-Based DVR systems really shine.  The PC-Based Alnet systems can be viewed from BlackBerry phones, Google Android PDA phones, iPhone, iPad, iTouch, Windows Mobile phones, Java enabled cell phones and more.  The difference between the Alnet system PDA remote viewing and the Standalone DVR remote viewing is that the Alnet systems provide streaming live video from your cameras, ability to program multiple server addresses and save them for future connection as well as providing the ability to playback prerecorded footage, control inputs and outputs and even control Pan Tilt Zoom style (PTZ) cameras right from the Android or other PDA phone.  These systems are clearly the choice when live viewing and advanced mobile capabilities are desired.
