The Online Bill Payment Event at CommonWealth One Federal Credit Union

Sept. 22, 2010 - PRLog -- CommonWealth One Federal Credit Union kicked off their Online Bill Payment event at the Main Branch and City Branch in Alexandria, Virginia, going on now through September 30th.  During this event, CommonWealth One will teach their members how to enroll in Online Bill Payment and will enroll their credit union members for them.  Members should bring in their bills for the credit union representatives to set up.  CommonWealth One can set up as many bills as a member may need to pay as there are no limits on the number of bills.

During this event, CommonWealth One will also pay each member $1.50 per bill up to $15, which will be credited into their checking account immediately after enrolling in Bill Payment.  This is a great incentive to their members to save time and money by using their online, free Bill Payment service.  

With online Bill Payment, members can pay their bills online securely for free and on their own schedule, which they can set up in the Online Bill Payment system.  They can pay as many bills as they would like as there are no limits on the number of bills.  Members can pay almost anyone with payments, such as individuals and businesses.  When members set up each bill, they can target the date that they would like the payment to be sent.  Payments can also be structured to be recurring as well and can be tracked for better financial management.  And online services are great for the environment since they reduce the need for paper products.

Members are required to have a checking account in order to use Online Bill Payment.  In order to keep Bill Payment as a free service with CommonWealth One, a member must pay a minimum of one bill per month, have a Visa Check Card and be enrolled in E-Statements, if not a minimal $4.95 monthly fee applies.
