Malcolm Watson Semi Finalist in Ford's national Gimme the Gig Contest.

Ford is looking for the best independent musicians and bands out there, in a music video competition that will give one talented musician or band the opportunity to have their music produced by Grammy Award winning producer Don Was.

Malcolm Watson will be performing at the Gimme the Gig contest on the Fiesta Lounge stage at 7 pm Friday, September 24th . The Fiesta Lounge stage area is located is on Pearl Street Mall / Boulder Creek Path Loop.

Many people in the Boulder community will remember Malcolm in his white tux and bare feet, dancing and playing passionately on his violin.  Come out to enjoy and cheer on this passionate, local musician. Malcolm, like the magical Pied Piper that he is, led the parade of children who have lost their homes, down the Mall last Sunday as part of the Hometown Parade to Honour the Four Mile Fire-fighters.

Also on the Barefoot Violinist’s schedule is a concert appearance at an upcoming benefit concert to aid those that have lost their homes in the Fourmile Canyon fire. Details of this will be released as soon as they are available.
