SemiDevices presents the new hybrid set-top box based on STi7167 in Amsterdam

Sept. 8, 2010 - PRLog -- SemiDevices, OEM / ODM-electronics manufacturer, will present its hybrid set-top box based on the chip STi7167 from STMicroelectronics at IBC 2010 (from 10 to 14 September). This new OEM-product supports HDTV (1080p), as well as popular PRV function (Personal Video Recorder). But its most important advantage is multi-format, the STB can be used as a basis for the development of embedded and autonomous devices DVB-C + IPTV, DVB-T + IPTV or MediaBox + IP.

Manufacturers and sellers of multimedia devices (potential clients of the SemiDevices company) can use different scenarios for Semi-OEM-STB-STi7167:
