Kiran Pradhan Joins The Blue Pie Team & Blue Pie Gets Some New Talent Flowing In From Bollywood

Aug. 30, 2010 - PRLog -- Blue Pie is pleased to announce the expansion of the Blue Pie India Team with the appointment of Kiran Pradhan as Blue Pie's representative for business development in the region.  As part of the Blue Pie Global Business Development Team, Kiran works with Damien Reilly to expand Blue Pie's global roster of metal and heavy metal acts. Kiran is an industry veteran and has been in the music business for over 20 years. Kiran Pradhan is also the Director AND Founder of Muzitek Creations in Sydney. He has a Masters degree in Engineering that he completed in the UK.

Kiran is an accomplished Music Director and Arranger, who has composed numerous original compositions, often sung by famous singers from India. Many of these tracks have been recorded and released by HMV, and distributed globally. Music has run through Koran's veins for many years, and it must be said his passion stems from his mother (Ranjana Pradhan), who is a highly respected Jal-Tarang player in India.

Kiran’s natural flare for blending Eastern and Western music speaks volumes about his innovative, and creative styled approach. The melodious tunes and rhythms he creates range from children’s songs, sound tracks for film and then folk to pop music. His first LP album ‘Disco Dhamal’ consisted of 8 children’s songs all composed in Marathi, and was released in India in 1984. Eminent poet Mangesh Padgaonkar provided the lyrics for this successful album.

Reputed singer Sulochana Chavan performed on Kiran’s next album of Marathi folk songs named ‘Lavni’ in 1986. Due to its instant success, HMV subsequently released countless more of his compositions sung by various artists. In addition, many of his songs have been broadcast on All India Radio and Bombay TV. He has created several jingles for prominent advertising agencies in Bombay, and has worked with local artists in Sydney having released a number of CD’s.

Kiran possesses extraordinary skills around computer-based music sequencing, whose arrangements have stood the test of time. He is also a professional musician, who has made a name for himself playing the tabla, guitar and keyboard. Kiran’s latest release, ‘Lag ja Gale’ is a combination of instrumentals, and karaoke of Lata Classic Hits, demonstrating his abilities as a contemporary artist.

Muzitek Creations, a company formed by Kiran Pradhan hosts a state-of-the-art recording studio, with the latest cutting edge technology, including host sequencer Cubase 5 with VST sounds such as Omni, RMX, Trilian, Halion Sonic, Korg, as well as hardware modules like Roland, with top end plug-ins. Locally, Kiran has provided music to Australian produced Hindi films such as Nazuk Rishtey and Jodi.

Kiran works with the Blue Pie A & R and Content Teams globally to seek out and secure catalogues of leading Bollywood content and " New Age " artists for the ever expanding Blue Pie catalogues. We are honoured to have Kiran on the Blue Pie Team
