Aug. 25, 2010 - PRLog -- In spite of being told that she has four months to live, Sharon Pack, 48, from Saginaw Township is now celebrating ten years as a two-time breast cancer survivor and plans to release her new book Ten Years  Counting on September 30, 2010. (Sharon’s anniversary date is October 1st Breast Cancer Awareness Month). The book offers comical tales of hardships and triumphs during the past ten years including her experience as a single mother, starting a business, becoming a writer and overcoming a divorce, all while undergoing chemotherapy and radiation treatments.
Ten Years Counting will not only inspire you but, you will become compelled to pursue personal goals even in the face of adversities. Sharon is also a freelance advertising model, motivational speaker and a silk flower designer.
Sharon became a writer in 2000, and wrote MINI Meals Cookbook (A Collection of Healthy Bite-Size Meals) to nourish her body while undergoing chemotherapy and radiation treatments.  In 2005, the cancer re-occurred but follow up treatments was not required because her condition was said to be non-hormonal. In 2006, Sharon wrote MINI Moves Workout Series (Low Impact & Advanced Exercises) after developing muscle spasms and joint pain caused by a non-related condition called SAR-COID-DO-SIS (an inflammatory lung disorder caused by swollen glands that attack the body’s immune system).
The past ten years has been a trying experience for Sharon as she continues to have routine scans and extensive blood work. In addition to having breast cancer, Sharon has also had more than five biopsies for cervical cancer and today she is remains cancer free!
Ten Years Counting is self-published and available through EMAGEZ™ Publishing in Saginaw, Michigan. The cost is $ 12.99 and includes photos and inspirational anecdotes.  To purchase copies visit: www.EMAGEZ.org or www.Amazon.com.
