The First Tee of The Palm Beaches Celebrates First Anniversary with Fundraising Campaign

Aug. 25, 2010 - PRLog -- In celebration of our first anniversary, September 29, The First Tee of The Palm Beaches announces the Summer/Fall Fundraising Campaign to help fund the maintenance of our ten hole golf course and practice area and general operating expenses needed to expand and accommodate a growing PB County After School Program and begin the outreach to other important communities around Palm Beach and Martin Counties.

Be assured that your donation is a secure transaction and your name is not shared on any other address list. 100% of your gift is tax deductible and goes directly into our operating budget.  

A gift will be mailed to those devotees who donate $50 or more.

A $1000 gift earns family access to our practice facility and golf course for one year.
A $500 gift earns a custom fitted “Limited Edition” Nicklaus Lob wedge.
A $200 gift earns a First Tee of The Palm Beaches logoed golf shirt and cap.
A $50 gift earns a First Tee of The Palm Beaches logoed  golf cap.

Each contribution will be listed on our website and donors will receive a
“Impact Partner” decal showing your support.


About The First Tee of The Palm Beaches
Our local Chapter resides in The Michael B. Finnegan Learning Center at West Palm Beach’s Dyer Park. Originally built in 2001 as The Children’s Golf Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, we honor our Founder, George McGrory by continuing the important curriculum and recreational golf activities for children with special needs and disabled US Veterans. During the past 12 months we have expanded our outreach and curriculum and have introduced The First Tee Life Skills Experience™ to over 500 students and plan to increase participation this fall three fold. Future growth will develop “Affiliate” sites at golf courses throughout Palm Beach and Martin Counties and boost the introduction of The First Tee Nine Core Values® through The First Tee National School Program at elementary schools with the generous multi-year support of The Honda Classic.
