Newly installed Beaulieu Berber Carpet ..Natural Expressions. Cincinnati by Home-Based Carpet

Aug. 21, 2010 - PRLog -- We just finished a 160 sy installed berber carpet in the Mason, Ohio area.  The job consisted of a l/r, master b/r, office and spare b/r in a ranch condo.  The condo is about 9 years old and the customer is confined to a electric wheel chair.  He concern was for a carpet that would hold up to the weight of the chair and him sitting and riding in the home. His wife was equally concerned but also wanted the carpet to have some comfort for her barefeet.   Another concern was a very weak sublfoor under the old carpet that was a builder grade carpet.

The job took 3 days and consisted of replacing several 3/4 ” OSB tongue and groove subfloor boards.  We discovered that there were lots of 4 x 8 boards that weren’t totally nailed down when the condo was built..  We spent about 6-8 hours renailing the existing floor and installing new subfloor boards.We installed a 15 ft. wide berber with 1/4″ 8 lb rebond pad.

The job turned out beautiful and the new stronger wood we installed certainly will hold up under the weight of the chair with the  customer in it. Tom and his wife are very happy and we are happy they were pleased and we are also happy to please them with a quality installation.
