Back From Ashes Set To Release Long Awaited Sophomore Album

Arizona heavy rockers, Back From Ashes, set album release date (and party) for Ryan Greene produced, sophomore, full length CD.

Aug. 19, 2010 - PRLog -- Back From Ashes (BFA), have recently completed recording their full length Sophomore album, II VI I, at Ryan Greene’s Validus Recording in North Hollywood, CA. The CD was produced, engineered, and mixed by Greene, and mastered by Byron Filson of Villain Recording. This long awaited follow up to the band’s 2007 debut, Broken, and 2009’s 6 song, self-titled EP, is set for an August 28, 2010 release date.

II VI I features the stable line up of Jason Hobel (vocals), Mikey Butikofer (guitar), Anthony DeJesus (guitar), David Anthony DeGilio (bass), and Pete Hawley (drums). Music will include new versions of all 6 songs from the aforementioned, self-titled EP, plus 5 new songs, as well as a remastered version of “Tightrope,” from the debut CD. Album graphics were provided by Ryan Thomas.

Sponsored by Euphoric Energy Drink, the Back From Ashes II VI I CD Release Party takes place at Joe’s Grotto in Phoenix, Arizona on Saturday, August 28, 2010. The band is set to hit the stage around 9:30PM with their unique blend of underground, yet commercially accepted rock/metal sound. The music will be accompanied by a spectacular laser light show with live sound handled by Ryan Greene.
