Kimberly Riehn, CPA, Joins Miller Construction Company as Controller

Aug. 2, 2010 - PRLog -- Veteran financial management executive Kimberly P. Riehn, CPA, has joined Fort Lauderdale-based Miller Construction Company as controller. With more than 20 years of experience in corporate accounting and commercial real estate, she is responsible for streamlining and enhancing financial processes for Miller, one of South Florida’s leading construction services firms.

Prior to joining the company, she served as manager of corporate accounting with Republic Services, Inc., for 12 years.  She earned the U.S. Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design – Accredited Professional (LEED-AP) designation  when chosen by Republic’s senior management to oversee construction of an innovative LEED-certified headquarters facility in Sunrise.  

She previously was an area controller with Republic Industries, Inc./AutoNation, Inc. and had served as corporate controller for Hudson Management Corp., a subsidiary of Republic Industries, Inc.  Her earlier career ranged from public accounting audit and tax work to commercial and industrial real estate management.

A certified public accountant (inactive), Riehn earned her Master of Arts and Bachelor of Business Administration degrees from the University of Georgia.
