Mobile viruses are viruses that attack mobile phones through wireless-enabled PDAs and networks become more complex, it is more difficult to get them our phone as viruses or other malicious software, also known as malware.

For the first time a mobile virus called Trojan horse virus was detected by Ojam company is designed to piracy in June 2004. These virus companies to send text message without the user knows. And then the threat of mobile malware, virus appeared in 2005, when a worm infects the computer was found Symbian Series 60 mobile phones. The worm replicates via mobile with MMS, and sent copies of itself phone owners listed in the phones address book.

Today, modern technology is more advanced and viruses for transfers with Internet connection. For your mobile. Mobile viruses can be compared with the human virus. It is spread by a particular host, which is closely in contact with. Mobile viruses can be transmitted through infected files or programs. As data transfer through blue tooth or Infra these viruses can be transmitted. These mobile viruses can delete or change information, contacts and calendar entries on your mobile phone. And it may even go down or remove our phone applications. And all these viruses will be displayed as text messages.

Most common mobile viruses
Cabir: When is virus infects mobile the message 'Caribe' will be displayed every time you switch off and on your mobile. These worms spread through blue tooth signals from other mobiles.
Duts: A parasitic file infector virus or otherwise known as Pocket PC. It attempts to infect all EXE files which are more than 4kb in the current directory.
Skulls: Once Trojan horse piece of code downloaded the virus called Skull replaces the phone desktop into image of skull as icon. It is also transferred with all phone applications including SMS and MMS.
Comm warrior: It's Mainly spread through MMS messages and blue tooth  to other devices. It infects devices running under OS Symbian Series 60. The executable worm file are launched they hunt for gaining access blue tooth devices and sends the infected files under various name to various device.

Viruses and Malware will remain since third generations are there. The solution to prevent our mobile from viruses is to implement security measures such as data encryption and anti-virus software applications in our mobile.
