-Mass Loaded Vinyl is the # 1 product used for soundproofing walls, floors and ceilings. It can be used as an underlay for carpets and can be tacked on to the joists on your ceiling and wall studs.

-Green Glue: A Visco-elastic adhesive used to sandwich two layers of Sheet Rock or Gypsum Board for the walls.  Apply a generous layer of adhesive on the back of one  layer with a caulk gun and paste the second layer flush with the fist.
