CT BBB Issues “Call for Entries” for 2010 Torch Awards

July 22, 2010 - PRLog -- Connecticut Better Business Bureau is calling on all businesses with a strong sense of accountability and responsibility aimed at advancing trust in the marketplace to submit an entry for the 2010 BBB Torch Award for Marketplace Excellence.

“Businesses large and small that have worked to uphold the trust and respect of their customers, employees, vendors, shareholders and communities are encouraged to enter this competition,” said Paulette Scarpetti, president and CEO of Connecticut Better Business Bureau.

The award is open to all for-profit businesses throughout the state, whether or not they are accredited by BBB.

There is no entry fee.  Submissions will be accepted through September 23, 2010.

Honorees for the BBB Torch Award are selected via a panel of independent judges.  The prize will be awarded at the Connecticut BBB Annual Meeting and Awards Banquet, November 11, 2010.
