| Making Memory Pillows ProgramThe public is invited to participate in this free Memory Pillow program for three consecutive Thursdays beginning on Thursday, July 29, through August 12, from 6-7:30 PM at the South Haven Hospice at Home, 05055 Blue Star Highway, South Haven.
By: Hospice at Home Using material from clothing and/or personal effects of loved ones to create their own special memory pillow, participants will need to bring a large piece of clean and ironed material (such as a shirt, dress, sheet, or pillow case) as well as small memory items to place in or sew onto the pillow. All other materials will be provided by Hospice at Home. Class size is limited to 15 people so please RSVP to Karen Riffer-Reinert, Bereavement Coordinator, at 269-637-3825. Hospice at Home also offers ongoing groups that meet during the evening for adults and children at Lory’s Place Grief Healing and Education Center. The groups include regularly scheduled age-appropriate support group sessions that allow children and adults to interact with peers who have suffered similar loss. Groups for children and adults who are anticipating a loss or who have experienced a loss through pregnancy are also available, as well as educational and workplace grief programs. All community bereavement services are provided free of charge thanks to local community contributions.
