Imo unveils new iPhone app

Imo, a web-based instant messaging service, has introduced a new iPhone app. The free app has improved performance & a sleek new design. The app let’s people stay connected with their friends supporting the most popular instant messaging protocols.

June 29, 2010 - PRLog -- Imo.im is available at Apple’s iTunes store. The release offers a visual upgrade to the platform as well as concurrent session support. No additional registration is required and multiple accounts can be linked together for a single sign-in. The app lets people stay connected whenever and wherever they are with real-time messaging. The new features include:

-sign into multiple accounts at once to stay in touch with your friends on many different networks: AIM, Facebook, Google Talk, ICQ, Jabber, MSN, MySpace, Skype, and Yahoo

-stay signed in, even when the app is closed, for up to 72 hours

-receive messages via push notifications when the app is closed

-search through your chat history to find important details on the go

-avoid text messaging costs by sending IMs instead

-type comfortably with landscape mode



The imo.im app is available for free from the iTunes Store at www.itunes.com/appstore/.
