Milford, MA Single Home Prices Decrease While Sales Increase in May 2010

July 21, 2010 - PRLog -- Milford, Massachusetts saw a decrease in median home prices which was met with a rise in sales of single-family homes in May 2010 when compared to the same month in 2009, according to an analysis of multiple listing service (MLS) data by exclusive buyer agency Buyers Brokers Only, LLC.

The report was compiled using data from MLS Property Information Network, Inc., a local MLS.

In May 2010 the median price of single-family homes in Milford, MA decreased 23.14%, or $81,000, compared to May 2009. In response to this, there was a distinct rise in sales, which increased by 69.23%, to a total of 22 homes sold.

Furthermore, May sales of Milford condominiums boasted a staggering increase of 200% from 2009 to 2010, in addition to a rise in median price. Compared to May 2009, the median price of a condominium in Milford jumped 61.49%, or $63,300.

Although sales of multi-family homes did not change from May 2009 to May 2010, they also showed a rise in median price. The median price of multi-family homes in Milford, MA increased 8.31%, or $12,250.
