Prime shooting location of ‘Raavan’ at Rainforest near Athirapally waterfalls

June 24, 2010 - PRLog -- Rainforest is a boutique resort situated on the edge of the abundant wilderness of the Sholayar Range, with a view of Athirapally waterfalls, the magnificent curtain of water which forms the enchanting visual of God’s own country.

Small village of Athirapally has been drawing tourist and the filmmakers in throng.  On entering the ‘Rainforest’ you are lost in the echoing of the water hurtling down the mountains. The view from the ‘Foliage’ the alfresco restaurant is spectacular. Each of the 9 rooms and the Tree house has a private balcony that enjoys an unpretentious view of the waterfalls.

In the ‘Celestial room’ where Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan stayed during their shoot for ‘Raavan’ comforts it with the large balcony that frames the waterfalls entirely, a not to miss breathtaking view. You have to experience and see it to believe it.

All you fans of ‘Raavan’ experience the local eats served at the sets during the shoot and feel a part of them, only at the Foliage restaurant at ‘Rainforest’.
