“It is a tremendous honor to be asked to serve on the Carter Center Board of Councilors, and I thank the President and Mrs. Carter and the Board for their confidence in me.  I take the responsibility of this service very seriously.  The Center’s work preventing and mediating conflicts, advancing human rights, strengthening democratic principles, health education and disease control, and reshaping public opinion surrounding mental health issues are all vitally important, and the scope of need is vast. I am excited to be able to help,” commented Judge Federal.
