June 10, 2010 - PRLog -- The Heinz History Center in Pittsburgh, PA has an exhibit through July about America's first Commander in Chief, George Washington.  This exhibit has a portion dedicated to George's dental history and treatment.  This inspired Dr. Timothy Chips from Chips Dental Asociates to discuss in his blog how modern dentistry could have helped George Washington manage his litany of dental problems.

The first installment of a four part series was published on June 8, 2010 on http://drtimchips.wordpress.com.  Part one discusses preventive dentistry of the 1700s and compares it to what we have available now to help make the prognosis for our teeth and overall health better.
