Upstate New York All-Female Band Finalists In Free Credit Score Band Competition

June 4, 2010 - PRLog -- (BALLSTON SPA, NY) One of Upstate New York's only fully-female rock bands, "Babe," is accepted as one of the finalists to the Free Credit Score band search competition which is being held on the company website located at http://freecreditscoreband.com/band/32. Babe is one of many finalists currently on the site, with nationwide voting to begin on June 7th to find a new band to represent the Free Credit Score business.

Babe is composed of six female members, though one member decided to withdraw from the competition due to the rules stating that each band should have five members or less. The band was formed in Upstate New York by local singer, Julie Delfs, and have been in demand around the New York area for their unique sound and style. Babe is currently one of the only all-female bands in this area of the country. The band typically performs danceable disco, 70's and 80's rock and pop hits from bands such as the Go Go's, Joan Jett,  Led Zeppelin, The Doobie Brothers, and Guns N' Roses to name a few.
