Style Mayvin T. Strong Auditions for Oprah!

June 4, 2010 - PRLog -- CHARLOTTE, N.C – Many have dreamed of walking in Oprah Winfrey’s shoes as a talk show host, mega media personality and successful entrepreneur, but few actually get the opportunity to make that fantasy into a reality.  T. Strong, the Queen City’s own “Style Mayvin” may just get that chance for fame.  "Your OWN Show: Oprah's Search for the Next TV Star" is a competition series that will premier on OWN, Oprah Winfrey's new network, in 2011. The winner of the series will host their own talk show produced for OWN and Strong has placed herself in the running to win the coveted spot on the network. Strong is hopeful that she will be chosen for the competition series.

“Being a contestant on this show is the opportunity of a lifetime,” says T. Strong. “There's no way I could pass it up and since I’m both a mother and a woman who truly loves fashion, I know how important it is to balance the day-to-day activities of family life while still finding the time to get glammed up and beautiful.”

T. Strong is a natural in front of the camera; she is currently a regular on Fox News Rising giving viewers her “Life & Style Tip of the Week” each Monday. She is also the host of Speaking Fashionese, an online makeover show, and is often seen around town working the red carpet, interviewing celebrities and local leaders.  T.
