SODIUS Introduces Interoperability Tools for IBM Rational DOORS Users

June 2, 2010 - PRLog -- Nantes, France – June 2, 2010 – SODIUS announced today MDConnect™ for DOORS solutions that help the DOORS® user community navigate through their requirement data in Eclipse and interoperate with other applications.
IBM Rational DOORS is a well established platform for engineers, allowing them to manage project requirements. It is often used in conjunction with other lifecycle tools of various types and from multiple vendors, creating increasing challenges to design and maintain traceability throughout the projects. The RSA Extension is the first extension available. It offers a smart integration of DOORS and Rational Software Architect allowing users to link modeling artifacts to DOORS requirements.
For developers working with Rational Software Architect and tracking their project requirements in DOORS, synchronizing data and maintaining traceability is often difficult and time consuming. MDConnect for DOORS with its RSA extension offers a smart solution to edit, maintain and report traceability between requirements and model elements within a single user interface.
By simply using drag-and-drop, users can visually build the relations and enrich their project visibility. In addition, a variety of reporting tools are available to manage traceability and impact analysis.
