May 27, 2010 - PRLog -- Chicago-based integrated marketing and communications firm All Terrain announced today that longtime business consultant and former Apprentice contestant, Michael Laungani, has joined the agency as an Account Manager, working on various high profile clients including the Chicago Fire soccer club, and rapidly expanding Mexican restaurant, Zapatista.

At All Terrain, Laungani will assist the Chicago Fire with grassroots brand awareness, ticket sales and regional visibility through field marketing, media relations and influencer seeding.  For Zapatista, Laungani will work on brand and identity programs including strategic planning, social media awareness and public relations support.

“Michael brings the kind of leadership qualities we look for at All Terrain,” said Sarah Eck-Thompson, President and COO.  “Michael’s wealth of knowledge from his previous experiences and his pre-existing relationships in the Chicago market will benefit both our agency and our clients.”

Brook Jay, President and CMO, said “We are pleased to have Michael join All Terrain.  As a fast growing integrated marketing firm, we pride ourselves on our excellence with building brands, creating impactful buzz, and developing strategic partnerships.  Our staff is critical to our success and Michael enhances our ability to provide high-quality client service.”

Laungani began his career at Arthur Andersen LLP’s Business Consulting practice in Chicago, where he provided strategic management consulting services for Fortune 500 companies, advising on merger integration and operational efficiencies.  Most recently, Laungani served as a mergers & acquisitions consultant for Ernst & Young, where he assisted multi-million dollar companies on corporate development and regulatory initiatives.  On the strength of his creativity and extensive consulting background, Laungani was selected for the fifth season of Donald Trump’s “The Apprentice,” finishing in the final six.

Outside of the office, Laungani serves as co-chair on the Wish Ball Committee for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Illinois.   The Wish Ball is one of Chicago’s largest charity fundraising galas, raising over $1 million annually.
