Parchment Strongest Candidate in GA-13

May 24, 2010 - PRLog -- Atlanta, GA - RedState.com posting shows latest analysis of Georgia’s 13th Congressional District and names Republican Candidate Rupert Parchment the strongest Republican candidate running against incumbent Democrat David Scott. According to the analysis, Parchment needs to swing approximately 10 percent of the vote to be victorious in November.

“The post on RedState is consistent with what people across our District are saying,” said Parchment.  “From Cobb to Clayton, from Douglas to Dekalb, Fulton and Henry counties, the people of this District are looking for fresh ideas, new leadership, and a listening ear.  I am that new candidate.”  

Other Republican challenger, Dr. Deborah Honeycutt, has unsuccessfully run against Scott two times in 2006 and 2008. According to RedState.com’s analysis, Honeycutt would need to get double the amount of votes than Parchment in order to have a chance this November.
