Amsterdam (Holland) based indie/pop group Dress: Bjorn Uyens (guitars & vocals), Jochem Klijnman (keyboards), Maarten Kooijman (drums) for the past eight years has been quietly and steadily building a very solid, loyal fan base.
Dress built their sound upon the electric-charged hard rock of Neil Young and Radiohead.
Deeply personal lyrics, distinctive guitar and signature tenor singing voice supported by polished Rhodes sound and drums characterize Dress. Although they accompany themselves on several different instruments including synths, midi controllers, bass and acoustic guitars this trio never looses its focus: simple, introspective, playful love songs. The songs have edge, but never get carried away or turn into a wall of noise.
