May 13, 2010 - PRLog -- Atrion’s Josh King will discuss security and productivity of today’s remote Teleworker among local IT security leaders.

Warwick, R.I. – May 13, 2010 – Atrion Networking Corporation, a leading provider of Information Technology and Managed Services, today announces it will host a booth and presentation at Bryant University’s annual Security Day 2010 on May 25, 2010 at the Bryant University Bello Center for Information Technology.

Atrion’s Josh King, security practice leader, will present on the emerging remote Teleworker workforce; how it has been enabled by technological advances such as the internet; and the growing role is it playing in the current green, economic and business environments. Josh will examine security and productivity concerns related to working remotely and how those challenges can be overcome with today’s technologies.

“The rate at which businesses rely on technology to perform everyday operations is growing exponentially,” said Mark Moretti, sales director for Atrion. “A vibrant example of this is the modern remote Teleworker, where more and more employees are working from home and on the road. With this increase in technological dependency, however, IT integrators and businesses alike must also ensure the security of their data, processes and technologies. This is the critical topic we are proud to address and share insights and best practices with among our peers at the Bryant University Security Day on May 25th.”

Atrion’s Security Practice is one of its five core practice areas, and acts as an over-arching umbrella in all of the Company’s technology solutions. Atrion’s own engineers and its partners hold expertise and certifications across various technologies, including: advanced systems, unified communications and internetworking.
