ITIL®, the only consistent and comprehensive documentation of best practice for IT Service Management used by thousands of organizations worldwide, came aboard the Apollo 13 space mission compliments of Linium. The mission was lead by Linium’s nationally renowned ITIL guru, honorary Commander Ralph Nabicht, on Wednesday, May 5 at Boston’s Museum of Science, home of a comprehensive Apollo 13 exhibit.

Attendees from a wide range of organizations including Boston University, Yale, PepsiCo, and Iron Mountain -  all interested in aligning their business process with their IT initiatives through ITIL best practices, experienced  4-hours of hands-on, rocket fueled exploration of ITIL V3 – by way of an interactive ITIL and ITSM business simulator.  Newly launched Linium Education Services (ES) provided FREE ITIL V3 training and simulation, breakfast/lunch and admission to the museum's exhibits including the Apollo exhibit.

A picture perfect lift-off for Linium ES offered uniquely experiential learning through a cohesive, team environment where inspired students and brought home the importance of proven process – one that can bring IT infrastructure “home safely” or leave it “lost in space”.  Student comments declared the mission a success – “It was an excellent learning experience – one I would highly recommend to anyone looking to gain a practical and working knowledge of ITIL”.
