May 7, 2010 - PRLog -- HOUSTON, TX – Scarab Consulting, a premier provider of litigation support and electronic discovery services for law firms and corporations, announced today that ARMA Dallas will host a presentation by its general counsel Julie Grantham at its annual Spring Seminar on May 11.

The Association of Records Managers and Administrators (ARMA), a professional association focused on managing both paper and electronic records, has more than 10,000 members in 30 countries. The Dallas chapter serves more than 200 members.

This year’s spring seminar, which offers CLE credits, focuses on electronic discovery and includes presentations from Grantham and other leading experts in the field.

Grantham will present on “E-Discovery and Ethics,” a discussion which will center on issues addressed by the Model Rules and ethical concerns that could affect the practice of e-discovery in litigation. In her role as Scarab Consulting’s General Counsel, she regularly consults with Fortune 500 clients on e-discovery best practices. She is also an adjunct professor at the University of Texas School of Law teaching a course on e-discovery (one of only a few in the nation.)

Her Dallas presentation comes on the heels of a successful session at the ARMA Houston Spring Conference on April 27. The conference, held April 27-28, featured its first legal sessions eligible for CLE and ethics certification and set attendance records for the chapter.
