Jetool Achieves As9100 Certification In Six Months!

April 29, 2010 - PRLog -- This certification was achieved after an audit by QMI-SAI Global with Jetool scoring a 98.9 %.

The AS9100 quality control system is rapidly becoming a prerequisite for doing business in the aerospace industry and Jetool recognized the benefits the certification would deliver to their existing customer base and would also exhibit their dedication for quality to all companies in the aerospace industry. Jetool’s Management Team hopes to expand its customer base to larger aerospace companies, such as Lockheed Martin and Boeing, who require ISO9001 and/or AS9100 certification.

Jetool has achieved the levels of the standard that include; Configuration Management, Purchasing, Product Realization, and Product Monitoring /Measurement. The AS9100 aerospace quality standard is based upon ISO 9001:2008 with nearly 100 additional requirements focused specifically towards aerospace which directly impacts product safety and reliability in the aerospace industry.
