Follow on Google News | Telemarketing Trials – the basics with CBSL GroupIf you are considering telemarketing for your business how do you know it is right? How do you know telemarketing is going to bring you a return on your investment.
By: Sam O'Prey This allows you to try out the service without fully committing further. It also allows CBSL to demonstrate our professionalism and quality of service to you. So what is involved in a telemarketing trial with CBSL? Stage 1: Telemarketing Briefing First off, we sit down with you and go through the CBSL briefing document. This document allows us to learn as much about your company, the way you wish it to be present, its history, your products or services, company ethos, your unique selling points and areas or specialism that you would expect from any new employee. This way by fully immersing ourselves in your company, we are able to talk fluidly around the company product or services and history or any other point that may come up during a telephone call. Once this stage of the briefing document is complete, we start to look at the campaign criteria. Whether it is a lead generation, data cleaning or market research campaign each will have its own unique objectives. We work with you to define the campaign criteria. This includes all the must have information needed to fully qualify an opportunity and the desired outcome of the campaign. This also enables both parties to fully understand the objectives of the campaign and allows us to measure performance against these. Stage 2: Purchase Marketing Data, Build Telemarketing CRM CBSL will then set about purchasing telemarketing data, building our bespoke telemarketing CRM software, undergoing in house product or service training with the telemarketing team and developing marketing scripts that allow for fluid conversations. At this stage we will also carry out a de-duplicating procedure or our marketing data against your company database so as to make sure we do not call any of your existing clients (unless that is the criteria of the campaign: clean current customer database). Once this is done and all technical areas are covered such as email address, diary integration and development of marketing collateral we set about stage 3; making telephone calls. Stage 3: Telemarketing Calls Next CBSL will start on the telemarketing trial. Here we will work to an agreed number of telemarketing days (for a trial we would always recommend a minimum of 10 days to allow for callbacks and follow up calls) with an agreed target for number of calls or leads to be set during this time. During this process, we will work closely with you and your sales team to make sure you are kept up to date on campaign progress and can action all the leads that this work produces, as we produce them so that you can make the most of every opportunity. CBSL can also handle the sending out of all email and direct mail correspondence and marketing collateral during this period. Stage 4: Campaign Report and Ongoing Support Once the campaign is complete, we will produce a full campaign report, which outlines all the call statistics such as number of calls, number of leads, information request and so on. This data can them be used to analyse conversion rates and the success of the campaign. As well as forecast results going forward. From here, depending upon the result of the campaign and assuming that both parties are happy to carry on working in partnership, CBSL will produce a proposal for ongoing telemarketing support or project based work as required by the client.
