ZSL London & Whipsnade Zoo relief for stranded tourists

April 20, 2010 - PRLog -- ZSL London and Whipsnade Zoo have come up with the perfect solution to cheer up those who have been stranded because of the air chaos - any guests who bring their passport to the Zoo this Thursday or Friday will receive 2 for 1 entry.

Tourists stuck in England as the volcano ash from Iceland continues to cause disruption to air traffic, can enjoy a much-needed respite from the stress, with a fun day out at the Zoo when they bring their passports along.

With the weather forecast to be warm and sunny, and the flights backlog set to last for days to come, weary travellers can relax for a while in the company of some of the most amazing creatures on Earth.

Marketing Director for ZSL, Rich Storton, says: “Whether the flight ban has stopped travellers from getting home, going on holiday or going on business trips, we understand it’s been a stressful few days for them. We’re offering a chilled day out in two beautiful locations to try and bring some light-relief to the situation”.

ZSL Whipsnade Zoo is only a short taxi ride from Luton Airport, surrounded by the lush green hills of the Chiltern Downs, Bedfordshire, whilst ZSL London Zoo is nestled in the heart of the city in Regent’s Park.

To enjoy a fantastic day out at the Zoo on Thursday 22nd or Friday 23rd April, anyone affected by the air travel ban simply needs to present their passport at the gate to receive 2for1 entry.
