April 13, 2010 - PRLog -- Hammer of the Gods: The Led Zeppelin Experience Announces The First Annual Long Island Zep Fest with Special Opening Guests Who's Next, Presented by WBAB

Hammer of the Gods: The Led Zeppelin Experience today officially announced Zep Fest 2010, a first-annual Long Island festival celebrating Led Zeppelin, their fans and their legendary music. Discussions, memorabilia, raffles and more will greet all attendants who purchase tickets to their show at The Tilles Center April 30, 2010.

Several prizes will be raffled, including an autographed Les Paul guitar courtesy of Sam Ash Music Stores. Souvenir flyers will be handed out at WBAB events throughout Long Island, as well as in select retail locations such as Looney Tunes in West Babylon and local Sam Ash Music Stores. Guests are invited (and encouraged) to come dressed in their 1970's rock best to fully immerse themselves in the experience of Led Zeppelin's live shows of the early '70's.  Fans of all ages are welcome to share, to relive or to learn about what is considered by many rock historians to be the single greatest influence on rock music since first taking stage in 1968.

In the spirit of Led Zeppelin's charitable history, Hammer of the Gods has partnered with RockCANRoll (www.rockcanroll.org) a non-profit organization, by arranging a food drive during Zep Fest 2010. Everyone is asked to bring a non-perishable food item or monetary donation which will be delivered directly to local food pantries and shelters. A portion of all prize raffle proceeds will be donated to RockCANRoll, to "help beat hunger on Long Island". More information as well as a list of most needed items can be found on their website www.rockcanroll.org.

Doors open at 6PM for Zep Fest, Showtime is 8PM.

Opening for Hammer of the Gods is Who's Next, The Ultimate Who Tribute, bringing to life the explosive, high energy excitement of one of Rock and Roll's greatest bands.
