Brawling Siblings Agree on New MMA Web Site

Delaware’s premier mixed martial arts organization, Sibling Rivalry, asked Baltimore-based MOS Creative to create a new look for the promotional company’s online image.

April 9, 2010 - PRLog -- Baltimore, MD. (April 9, 2010)—Wanting to carry the excitement and hard-core intensity of the live events into the organization’s Web site, Sibling Rivalry asked the designers at MOS Creative, who have done creative work for several other MMA organizations, to build its brand online. The new Web site is scheduled to go live this spring.

Sibling Rivalry considers its MMA events as a means of better serving the sport and its supporters, and wanted a new, user-friendly site to serve as an extension of the brand’s mission. Created primarily as a fan resource for event information and fight card updates, the new Web site will also allow athletes to register to become cage fighters themselves.

“They liked the ‘splatter and grunge’ look that we created for some other MMA companies,” says Dorothy Phillips, graphic designer at MOS. “Our previous work is what sold them on us, so that gave us a starting point in designing their site.” Phillips explains that the creative team adapted this “ground and pound” style to fit the family-owned brand.

MOS is very involved in the MMA community as the creative firm behind Shogun Fights, Maryland’s first MMA promotions company, and MMA 3:15, an online radio broadcast related to MMA news, events and entertainment. MOS is also the marketing firm connected to Policy Clothing, a fighting-inspired clothing line that is the head sponsor of Sibling Rivalry in its upcoming 16 events.
