Head Resourcing Launch Innovative Networking Event

April 7, 2010 - PRLog -- After identifying a gap in the market for an exclusive networking event for Scottish business leaders, Head Resourcing have successfully launched ‘Lionra’, an independent networking group for senior professionals in central Scotland.

Lionra (Gaelic for network) was developed by Head Resourcing and sister company Carlyle Associates to give professionals from various industry sectors the opportunity to interact in an informal and informative environment.

A carefully selected group of influential business men and women were invited to The Balmoral Hotel in Edinburgh for a drinks reception, followed by a three course dinner and a presentation by Scottish Enterprise Chairman Crawford Gillies, who stimulated a lively discussion with the title “Scotland, Is OK Enough?”

Around 55 guests from a variety of organisations were given the opportunity to meet fellow diners throughout the evening. A full guest list was made available two weeks prior to the event to allow attendees to make the most of this unique networking opportunity.

Both Head Resourcing and Carlyle Associates were delighted with the feedback that was received after the event. Attendees praised the venue, the speaker, the relaxed atmosphere and the intimate size of Lionra’s inaugural dinner. Over 90% of guests who completed evaluation forms stated they were interested in attending further Lionra events.
