Injectors Plus Announces Slogan Contest

March 24, 2010 - PRLog -- New Milford, NJ, March 21, 2010 – Injectors Plus, a fuel delivery specialty company specializing in high performance engines,  recently released  a new website, www.InjectorsPlus.com, that prominently features the slogan “Vroom Vroom!” on the home page. This was intended as placeholder copy by the designer, but the company couldn’t decide on a phrase to replace it and has opened a public contest to select a catch phrase.

Entries will be narrowed down to a field of 10 finalists, and voting for the winner will be open to the public.

Contestants can enter through the Injectors Plus web site or their Facebook page, www.Facebook.com/InjectorsPlus.

“We love our new website, but we hate the slogan ‘Vroom, Vroom!’” said John Supino, founder of Injectors Plus. “Rather than let our web designers come up with something else equally lame, we've decided to let the public tell us what best reflects the mindset of the automotive enthusiast. And to make it worth their while, we're putting up cold hard cash.”

“We just put the ‘Vroom Vroom!’ in as a placeholder, we never thought they’d actually use it on the site,” explains Joanna Cali, co-founder of mQuotient LLC, the Internet marketing firm that designed the site. “It was more of a joke, really, but I think the contest is a great idea – it will give the company a handle on how their customers perceive them and could yield something really out of the box for them.”

The company is accepting entries through April 18, 2010. Judges will select the finalists and open the contest to public voting between April 26 and May 9, 2010, with the winner announced on May 9th.
