Dempsey Dyer have taken the opportunity to invest in new machinery for their timber window, door and conservatory production facility.

March 24, 2010 - PRLog -- Dempsey Dyer Ltd have invested in new machinery for their timber production facility to bring increased automation and efficiencies to their manufacturing capability.

Based in the United Kingdom, Dempsey Dyer have chosen to install timber processing equipment from industry leading experts "Weinig". The Weinig Group are well known for providing timber processing solutions and the latest in technology to solid timber processors.

A Weinig Moulder and OptiCut Saw have been introduced to the timber production facility and these products will bring increased automation, increased efficiencies through advanced batching capabilities and most importantly, an increase in safety for Dempsey Dyer's workforce.

The investment kick starts an ambitious automation and efficiencies project to be undertaken by Dempsey Dyer over the coming months and years. With the positive benefits of automating their pvc production facility several years ago, Dempsey Dyer are aiming to achieve the same with their timber production facility for the manufacture of their timber window, door and conservatory products.

The Weinig machinery products were installed week commencing 15/03/2010 and the beginning of this week has seen the start of product testing before going into full production.

This improvement in manufacturing capability will directly affect the manufacture of the below timber products manufactured by Dempsey Dyer:

Timber Doors - http://www.dempseydyer.co.uk/doors/timber/

With timber conservatory products fabricated from both their timber window and door products, Dempsey Dyer will also be able to offer the same improvements on both standard and bespoke conservatory solutions.

Last month saw the expansion of automated production capacity for Dempsey Dyer's pvc production unit. With a strong financial position, Dempsey Dyer have been able to invest during the downturn in a bid to create a highly efficient company.

Dempsey Dyer are likely to continue working with Weinig for future improvement and expansion projects for their timber production facility. With plans to install a fully automated machine centre, Dempsey Dyer are placing a high level of investment into improving their manufacturing processes.
